Everyday that we wake up with life is always a blessing; but there are some days you feel extra blessed. On this particular day, I received two unexpected blessings that really made my day and still bring a smile. I received the Michelle Obama book, which I had been planning to buy for the longest and just never got around to it, and I also received free tickets to a Hezekiah Walker concert that was happening that same day. While the book and the concert tickets were great gifts in an of themselves, what touched me the most was the thoughtfulness of the gift and the fact that these individuals thought of me. Sometimes we never know the impact we may have on someones life, but every now and again, God allows these unexpected blessings to remind us that people genuinely care and He does as well.
